Jack Wooldridge – Co-Founder

My career began over a decade ago as an apprentice plumber with a local plumbing and heating company operating across both domestic and commercial sectors. During this period, I completed my NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Plumbing and Heating, complemented by a range of management courses that supported my progression into leadership roles.

Throughout my career, I advanced from apprentice to project manager, gaining extensive hands-on experience while also overseeing teams of more than 20 engineers across multiple trades. This combination of practical expertise and leadership responsibility has provided me with a strong technical foundation, but it has also shaped my approach to working with people—prioritising clear communication, strong client relationships, and delivering every project to the highest standard. I have successfully managed projects ranging in value from £100,000 to £3 million.

Tom Wooldridge – Co-Founder

My career began 15 years ago as an apprentice plumber with a major tier-one contractor, where I earned my NVQ Levels 2 and 3 qualifications in Plumbing and Heating. After completing my apprenticeship, I progressed onto a graduate scheme, working as a Project Engineer and later achieving a bachelor’s degree in building services engineering at Liverpool John Moores University. I then advanced my career by working on major projects with M&E values ranging from £10 million to £50 million, collaborating with some of the largest clients and main contractors in the construction industry.

These experiences enabled me to develop strong expertise in project delivery, team leadership, and client management—skills I now bring to Wooldridge Building Services.
